Other Features:
a). The ring type
low voltage measuring current transformer shall be of the encased type (in which the current
transformer core and winding are mechanically and electrically protected within
an insulation, robust andstrong plastic case) suitable for operation in
tropical climatic conditions and the dielectric strength shall not be less than
that stipulated in the Technical Requirements. All CT be of Single Turn.
b).

c). Terminals shall be suitable for 2.5 sqmm cables.
Double secondery terminals shall be provided for short circuiting the secondary
winding before opening the measuring circuit.
d).The secondary terminals of the current
transformer are mounted in a junction box with a seal and are designed with
lead screws to prevent contact with unauthorized personnel.
